  • Lane Michael Stanley (Writer/Director)

    Lane Michael Stanley is a transgender writer and filmmaker whose work explores queerness, class, restorative justice, grief, and healing. His award-winning short and feature films have played festivals including Austin, Outfest, Sidewalk, Phoenix, and Santa Barbara. His writing has appeared/is forthcoming in Electric Literature, The Rumpus, Foglifter, The Ana, Brevity, and HowlRound. Lane’s films and plays have been presented by 35 film festivals and 21 theaters in 25 states and four countries, and shown in soup kitchens, meditations gardens, addiction treatment centers, and San Quentin State Prison.   • Mel Glickman (Em/Co-Producer/Story by)

    Mel Glickman is a non-binary transmasculine actor, writer, and fight director based in Los Angeles. They are excited and honored to be part of T as their first feature project. Their acting and choreography have been seen on stages in LA (MB Stage Productions, Mouthbone Productions, New Musicals Inc.), New York (Fight Theater, Danspace), Baltimore (Cohesion Theatre Company, Baltimore Shakespeare Factory), Kansas City (Rose Theatre), and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Film/TV credits: SEAL Team (CBS), Jersey (coLAB Arts), Haunt (AFI), Atop God's Breakfast (NYFA). Education: BFA Drama NYU/Tisch/Experimental Theatre Wing, BA Mathematics NYU/Courant Institute. Proud member of the Society of American Fight Directors.

  • Mursi Haynes (Ana)

    Mursi Haynes, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Entrepreneur and Actress residing in LA. She completed Conservatory training at The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in New York City and most recently at Ivana Chubbuck Studios, and Killian's Commercial Workshop in Los Angeles.  Mursi is drawn to roles with strong women leads and projects that represent diversity although she also has a comedic side. When not acting, spending time with loved ones, photography, cooking, Djing and soccer are just a few things that she does to maintain balance.

  • Lowell Blank (Producer)

    Lowell Blank is a producer with over twenty-five years’ experience on both studio and independent productions. As President of Chicago Pacific Entertainment, he developed and produced feature films, documentaries and commercials with director Andrew Davis (THE FUGITIVE, HOLES), for Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros., Fox, and others. Blank produced the independent film ADDICT NAMED HAL, written and directed by Lane Michael Stanley, a dramatic love story set in the world of drug and alcohol recovery, which made its world premiere at the 2021 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

  • Deb Fink (Executive Producer/Rebecca)

    Deb Fink is a writer, producer, actor, director, fundraiser, community builder, poet, storyteller (Your Stories Here), teacher, and coach. She is creative director of Your Stories Here, a story/new work incubator, and Beautiful Collaterals LLC, a production company. Deb just finished shooting the feature film, T, for which she both executive produced and played the role of Rebecca.  T begins its festival season at Dances With Films in June 2025,.  She has also produced the award winning short film Boifriend and has several short film projects (Pinsetter, In an Instant) and feature film projects (Beautiful Collaterals, The Worlds that Made Me), as well as a book of essays and poetry in development.  Deb is a founding member and an associate artist of Central Works Theater Company in Berkeley, Ca, where she sits on the board of directors. Other affiliations include The Remarkables, Sundance Collab, Notes on Your Notes, and Unmute. Deb is an award-winning actor in theater and film, She has appeared in feature films including voice work for Pixar’s Finding Dory and Coco, and roles on TV and in commercials throughout her 35+ year career. Deb’s passion, mission, and purpose is to create stories of otherness to assist us in recognizing we are one or we are done.

  • Jairo Rivas (Rose)

    Jairo Rivas is a Los Angeles based actor, designer and storyteller. Jairo received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from California Institute of the Arts.  In addition to acting, they have pursued the visual art form of Shadow Puppetry under the guidance of Janie Geiser and Jairo has developed multiple shows, using this medium, that have premiered in Los Angeles and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Jairo has also curated a drag persona named Rosay Ratcheté, which every so often performs locally in Los Angeles.

  • Sam Kerner

    Sam Kerner is a queer actor and graphic designer based in New York City. He is thrilled to be a part of T and this story as his first feature film project. He earned his BFA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin, where he performed in shows including Twelfth Night, The Crucible, as well as several new works. He currently sings with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus and it’s queer a cappella band, Tonewall.Description goes here

  • John David De Virgiliis (Co-Director of Photography)

    John David De Virgiliis served as cinematographer on Lane and Lowell’s previous feature, ADDICT NAMED HAL.  He is drawn to stories about community, especially idiosyncrasy and quirk. He believes our identities are empowered by sharing them through our stories and our souls are nourished through uncontrollable laughter. John David completed his MFA in Film Production at the University of Texas at Austin and has a ten-year career in the International Cinematographer’s Guild on films such as LOVING, MUD, MANCHESTER BY THE SEA, and MEDITERRANEA.

  • Giselle Gonzalez (Co-Director of Photography)

    Giselle Gonzalez is a queer political organizer, filmmaker and dancer living in Los Angeles. She loves carbs, pit bulls, gatorade zero, and rainy days. She has served as cinematographer or camera operator on shows such as SAVED BY THE BELL (Peacock), LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE (Hulu), SUGAR DADDY (Palm Springs Film Festival), and AMONG SORROWS AND SONGS (Paris Short Film Festival, Beyond the Lens Film Festival). She has worked in the camera department on films including US (Jordan Peele), FIRST MAN (Damien Chazelle), and DESTROYER (Karyn Kusama).

  • Laura Gonzalez (Costume Designer)

    Laura M. Gonzalez is an Austin-born costume designer. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning her degree in Honors Costume Design. Laura designs for film, theatre, and dance. Recent theatre credits include rain falls special on me (Ground Floor Theatre), Atmosphera (Arcos) and This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing (Zach Theatre). Recent film credits include ACCIDENTAL GETAWAY DRIVER (Sundance), I AM MACKENZIE (BFI, SXSW), and ADDICT NAMED HAL (Austin, Santa Barbara).

  • Zev Rose (Co-Production Designer)

    Zev is a non-binary, Jewish director and photographer located in LA. Zev's work focuses on the positive and colorful aspects of queerness to move away from the trauma-centered stories we most often see about the queer experience. Working as a production designer for many years has informed their directorial work to have a strong emphasis on imaginative and surreal worlds. Their creative style blends strong color palettes, kitsch, and vintage aesthetics. Zev's surrealist short film, “Reasons To Stay” won Best US Short Film at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival in 2021. Zev also frequently works with musicians directing music videos, creating album artwork and promo visuals. Outside of creative work, Zev co-produces The Secret Circus LA, enjoys bodies of water, and loves their two cats, Momo and Remy, very much.Description goes here

  • Rebecca Marquardt (Co-Production Designer)

    Rebecca Marquardt is a queer actor, musician, and award-winning filmmaker who loves stories that make you laugh and cry at the same time. Her extensive comedy and improv training landed me the stellar job of host and emcee of the national tour of Odd Squad LIVE!, based on the Emmy-winning TV show. Her award-winning short film BOIFRIEND (co-directed with Lane Michael Stanley) played festivals including Out on Film, Sidewalk, and Reeling. Her short screenplay PINSETTER made the Semifinals at Slamdance and is currently in pre-production, and her music covers and videos have over 2 million views.

  • Prakshi Malik (Editor)

    Prakshi Malik is an award-winning filmmaker and dancer working creatively and collaboratively to make films that sway our collective imaginations. She grew up in Delhi, India and is currently based in Minneapolis, Mni Sota Makoce, on Dakota and Anishinaabe land. Prakshi's background in dance and ensemble theatre influences her empathy as a director and her rhythm as an editor. Her work has been supported by Austin Film Society, City of Minneapolis, St Paul Neighborhood Network and a community of friends. Prakshi’s films have screened internationally at festivals like New Orleans Film Festival, PBS Short Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival, Tasveer South Asian Film Festival among others. Her award-winning editing work ranges from short documentaries to a narrative feature, experimental dance films and branded videos. Prakshi has trained in Kuchipudi dance, West African dance and performed with Ananya Dance Theatre. She holds a BA in Media and Cultural Studies from Macalester College and MFA in Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin. Prakshi is a member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia, Asian American Documentary Network and Alliance of Documentary Editors.

  • Ed Varga (Composer)

    Ed Varga is a composer, songwriter, sound designer and the owner of Tone Generator Studios.  As a transgender man he has been an active voice in the trans and queer communities. After being a leader in the Queercore movement, where he founded Homocore Minneapolis and the Homo A Go Go festival, he turned his attention to composing and sound design for visual media.  He studied music composition for film, TV and video games at Berklee College of Music.  He has created original scores and collaborated with independent filmmakers including Lane Michael Stanley (T and Earthworm), Jay Goldstuck (The Empty Chair), Oona Garthwaite (Forevertown), Kolmel Love, Peter Max Lawrence and Jerry Lee Abram, as well as working with non-profits such as NDN Collective and PowerSwitch Action.  He lives in Portland, Oregon with his dogs Octave and Wanda.   https://tonegeneratorstudios.com/

    Kevin Stanley is a singer-songwriter with a deep catalogue of emotional songs that speak to the heart. He plays and teaches guitar, bass, drums, and more. His first EP was Mission Pacific, and he is a graduate of Musician's Institute in Hollywood.
